Dear Diocesan Family,
Last evening, Bishop San was transferred to the Cardiac Care Unit at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. He is scheduled for bypass surgery tomorrow, although a specific time has yet to be determined. He is in good spirits – talking up the Episcopal Church and our beloved diocese to all of the medical staff that he meets, including the ambulance drivers. He is a phenomenal evangelist.
We ask that you continue to keep San and his family in your prayers. Understanding that San needs his rest and quiet, please send any cards and/or notes to us here in Bray House and we will continue to happily forward them. Please know that San appreciates every thought and prayer but will not be able to respond to anyone until he has recovered.
Again, thank you for all of your care and concern. San feels your love!
Please be assured that we will continue to update you on San’s progress. If you have any concerns about a diocesan matter please don’t hesitate to call us here in the Bray House.
Peace,
Patrick & Kevin
