A Lenten Evensong service will be held on Sunday March 31, 2019 at 4:00 pm with music provided by the Andrean Vocal Ensemble of St Andrew’s School, from Middletown Delaware. Choral Evensong is a service of sung evening prayer, the text of which is almost entirely from the Bible. Sung psalms and canticles are interwoven with readings form the Old and New testaments and the recitation of the Apostle’s Creed and Lord’s Prayer. St Andrew’s student choir has joined us previously for Advent Evensong services of great beauty. Please join us for a time of rest, beauty, and prayer.
