Dear Diocesan Family,
We want to thank everyone for their continued prayers and support for our beloved Bishop San. We have received numerous emails of support and San is deeply touched by your outpouring of love.
Please enjoy the video that San has sent for us all. As you can see he is upbeat and expecting a positive outcome from his surgery.
Today at 12 noon San will undergo bypass surgery. Canon Patrick will pray with San and be pastorally present with Lynn and the rest of San’s family during the surgery. We are optimistic and hopeful trusting in God’s providence, and we are asking for everyone’s prayers at this time. Please hold up San and his family in prayer, asking for strength and courage during this challenging time. Please also pray the doctors & nurses and all of the support staff that will be involved in San’s surgery asking for God’s grace as they go about their work today.
Later in the day, when we have more news, we will send another announcement to everyone.
