Camp Wright is a valued property of the Diocese of Easton.  The camp program has provided formative and sprit filled camp experiences for children from the Eastern Shore and beyond since 1930.  Camp Wright’s mission is connection.  The shorelinek which connects the camp to the Chesapeake Bay, is the site of memorable games ad ceremonies, sunsets with friends, 4th of July firework views and wonder in creation.

“ROCK FOR AGES” Camp Wright Shoreline Stablilization – The Diocese is seeking your support for the shorelne stabilization currently underway at Camp Wright. Camp Wright is a valued property of the Diocese of Easton. The Diocese first reinforced the shoreline during Reverend Allen Spicer’s tenure as director in the 1970’s. This wall has been faithful, but after 50 years, is ready for a complete restoration to ensure safety and continued connection in this space for the next generation of campers.

Costs for the contruction will be about $400,000. We were encouraged to undertake this project by the very generous donation of $100,000 from Children’s Home Foundation. A fundraising campaign is underway for the remaining amount. The Church of the Holy Trinity, Oxford, has already provided $7,766 and we are very optimistic that the campaign will receive strong support from the many parishioners who have had connections with Camp Wright over its 95 years of service.
