When the Sunday School children at The Church of the Holy Trinity heard about the loss suffered by their peers in Houston, they wanted to help. A school in need of help was identified and the Sunday School reached out to them. The children at the Kipps 3D Academy had lost all their school supplies in Hurricane Harvey. Upon hearing of their loss, the Holy Trinity Sunday School children donated new backpacks full of school supplies to each of them and the church donated funds to help with other needs. Attached to each backpack was heart expressing care and love for their new friends in Houston. Their teacher wrote back “Wow! Oh my goodness! Thank you so much!! All of the supplies as well as the check will go a really long way to helping set our kids up with their materials they need. We cannot say thank you enough for you and your churches generosity! It is amazing how in the mist of destruction and chaos the Lord always provides in amazing ways.”
