St. Mary Anne’s Mission Committee will continue its tradition of hosting a model train show in the Parish Hall on January 7 from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. Model train enthusiasts chase the cold winter blues away with their passion for model railroading. Visitors have been treated to up to nine working model train layouts featuring Standard gauge, O gauge, S, HO, and N gauge trains. The five-hour free event attracts dozens of visitors. Through the sale of raffle tickets and refreshments, in addition to donations, recent events have raised in excess $1400.00 for St. Vincent’s School for the Handicapped in Haiti.
