Resolution on the 156th Bishop’s Convention Address

The Resolution Presented at the end of the Business Session Three
and in response to the work done during our break-out session is as follows:
Resolved, That the Diocese of Easton establish a “New Horizons Task Force” with members appointed by the Bishop to begin the process of establishing a successor document to the current “Parousia” using the ideas and concepts generated through the Break-Out Group Sessions and open discussion at the 156th Convention of the Diocese of Easton as a starting-point for further development. The “New Horizons Task Force” would include at least one representative from each of the four areas of ministry as identified at this Convention: Evangelism, Stewardship, Leadership, and Formation.
Be it Further Resolved, That the New Horizons Task Force provides the 157th Convention of the Diocese of Easton with a progress report of its work.

- NOT APPROVED: Rules of Order for the 2025 Diocesan Convention
- APPROVED: Approved Curriculum Fulfilling Requirements For Anti-Racism Training
