Bishop San and The Episcopal Diocese of Easton join with others across the nation in expressing shock and sadness over the news of three mass shootings in the past week. “I feel it’s no longer enough to issue statements,” said Bishop San, “as a prayer centered church and mission-shaped Diocese we will make it a regular practice to join together in prayer.” Next Tuesday the Bishop will offer a requiem Eucharist open to all. “We will lift up in our prayers the victims, the survivors, and their families. And we will pray for an end to gun violence, racism, hatred, intolerance, and injustice.” We hope you will join us Tuesday, August 13th from 12:00pm-12:30pm in Trinity Cathedral, Easton.
