Project Resource teaches culture and systems change around financial development in the worldwide Episcopal Church. Project Resource provides teaching, focus, and adaptable resources to equip clergy and lay leaders to develop their year-round annual stewardship campaigns and to plan, ask for, and receive major gifts.

 Project Resource:

  • helps church teams to gather the best resources to transform all areas of stewardship and explore internal narratives of money while addressing societal shifts, organizational change, and leadership challenges.
  • assists teams in interpreting the training curriculum, session by session, relative to their cultural and regional context.
  • empowers participants to leave the conference with a working plan and measurable objectives tailored specifically for their own congregation.

Copying and pasting stock stewardship resources year after year?

Dusting off what you did last year with a few tweaks and a different theme name?

You’re doing stewardship wrong. Let’s change that.

Church Teams:

Project Resource training equips stewardship teams to plan and develop year-round stewardship ministries that can be replicated and adapted for years to come. Churches that have gotten the most out of Project Resource have been intentional about including their clergy, stewardship committee members, staff, and other committed lay leaders.

Cost:
This comprehensive multi-week training is meant to be cost-efficient for our churches. Project Resource is underwritten by the Office of the Bishop and offered at a 50% discount to our churches on the Eastern Shore (USE DISCOUNT CODE “DioEaston” TO RECEIVE 50% OFF). All costs of speakers, materials, and follow-up coaching to participants after the course trainings are covered. Financial Assistance is available by request by emailing Joanne Fisher at joanne@dioceseofeaston.org.

Church teams will complete the course with:

  • A year-round stewardship calendar
  • A step-by-step plan for implementing a successful annual campaign
  • Hands-on training on how to make personal invitations
  • Understanding generational and individual donor motivations
  • Cultural and technological strategies
