Background Checks

  • Link to background check log sheet – The Log contains the list of current background checks as of April 9, 2024. If your name is not shown, you are probably due for a background check. The Log is updated weekly, so if you recently ordered a report and do not see your name listed, please wait a week or two to allow time for the log to be updated. If you have any questions or do not see your name listed yet believe your last background check was within the last 3 years, feel free to contact me, Rev. Fees

For volunteers, a fee of $7.50/background check will be billed to the Parish/Organization. More extensive background checks for staff, interns, or other specialized positions are also available for $35 (billed to the Parish/Organization). Results are usually returned to the Diocese within 24 hours of e-release submission via a secure website. Should any results return as flagged a call will be made to the respective rector/director/head of organization. All names, regardless of flagged status, will be posted to the list of names.
